As I was so tired and sleepy not having enough rest, I couldn't hold on to watch Beckam's beautiful free kick. Actually I think I was awake till about twenty minutes into the game, but when I woke up, England had already won. And the next time I woke up, it was worse as my clock said 9:50...
I jumped out of my bed to hurry to my office...
I had the right to sleep longer as I was supposed to be in the night shift today, but I was worried about the rain I had been taking care these couple of days...

My collegues in for overnight duty had covered us well... very thankful!

ベッドから飛び起きて職場に急いだ…。
今日は夜勤だったんで、ゆっくり寝る資格はあったんだけど、ここ数日気にかけていた雨のことが心配だったんで…。

泊まり勤務に入っていた同僚たちがきっちりカバーをしていた…とっても有り難いね！
It was only at my office I learned that Portugal and the Netherlands had fought a very rough match with 16 yellows and 4 reds given out by the ref. Without Deco with a red and C. Ronaldo with injury, Portugal could well be vulnerable to a rolling England. But they still have Figo and it will be something to see the former teammates at Real Madrid to fight for survival!
職場で初めてポルトガルとオランダが１６枚のイエローと４枚のレッドが審判から出たというかなりラフな試合を戦っていたことを知った。レッドをもらったデコと怪我でＣロナウドを欠くポルトガルは、波に乗るイングランドに対してあまりにも脆弱だ。でもまだフィーゴがいるし、レアル・マドリードの元チームメイトが生き残りを賭けて戦うのは見物だね！
