Filming in Urawa

I was out to Saitama City today on location to film kids running around with soccer balls.
I had an itch all through the way to play ball myself, but I devoted all my energy to the coverage.
Kids are amazing... they run around for hours and their stamina never seem to run out... just amazing... but more than two decades ago, I think I was just the same!
今日はさいたま市に出てサッカーボールを追いかけ回す子供たちを撮影するロケをやった。
自分でもボールで遊びたいとうずうずしていたが、取材に全力を注いだ。
子供ってすごいよね…何時間と走り回ってもスタミナが切れそうにない…ほんとにすごい…でも２０年以上前、俺も一緒そうだったんだよね！

So it was only at night I could find out how the race went...

the Hong Kong gelding overwhelmed at the Yasuda Kinen... Last year's champion, the British bred Asakusa Den'en barely secured the runner-up position, but the American bred and Hong Kong mile champion Bullish Luck kicked ass. Another Hong Kong gelding Joyful Winner finished 3rd.

ということでレースの結果は夜になって初めて知った…。
写真：香港のせん馬が安田記念で圧倒…去年のチャンピオンでイギリス産のアサクサデンエンは辛うじて２着を確保したが、アメリカ産で香港のマイル王者のブリッシュラックが圧勝した。もう１頭の香港のせん馬ジョイフルウイナーは３着に。
