the Swiss striker was completely offsides... dumb judge by the chief ref...

I went to bed after Ukraine's victory, and slept for hours...
I tried not to look at the results and watch the recording of the South Korea-Switzerland match...
The stadium was filled with red supporters, mostly the "Red Devils" chanting "대한민국" ("Daehan Minguk")... BUT...

And as the former champs easily beat the last place Togo...
South Korea is eliminated!
Unbelievable... there were stories that South Korea went lucky at their games at home on 2002 with some help from the refs, but this kind of revenge is unbelievable... a really crazy ref!

As the 2 Middle East teams and Japan all being eliminated, I was cheering for our neighbors... Though Australia is going to be included in the Asian preliminaries for the 2010 Cup at South Africa, the Asians had to secure a seat in the knockout rounds so FIFA would not even try to do any more nasty things against the Asians...
What a big and influential match this was...

そして元王者が簡単に最下位トーゴを破った…
韓国が消えた！
信じられない…韓国は審判のおかげでホームで戦った２００２年の試合では幸運なことがあったという話もあったが、こんな感じのリベンジは信じられないよ…マジで狂った審判だ！
中東の２チームと日本がみんな敗退しただけに、この隣人を応援していた…オーストラリアが２０１０年の南ア大会のアジア予選に組み込まれることになったが、アジアは決勝トーナメントの席を確保しなければならなかった。ＦＩＦＡがイヤなことをアジア勢にしてこないようにするためには…。
それほどこの試合は大きく、影響のあるものだったんだよ…。
