Are we Japanese ready to take that? No, I think many of us are not...
and that's where the envy comes from...
We were just envious of Murakami-san and Horiemon...

There's no path to return... not just for Murakami-san, but for us too...

職場に戻ったら、まるでサーカスのようだった…村上さんの出演で…
引退を宣言したあと、検察に逮捕された…
ひとしずくの水が甕を溢れさせる…
やりすぎたんだよ村上さん…
分かるよ…この世界でお金はとっても大切だ…
利益を上げて、どれぐらい稼げるか…
それが成功の尺度だ…
でも…そう…お金がすべてではないと言いたい…本当に…
でも…そう…生活に満足している人こそが…いかに貧乏で、いかに目立たず、いかに軽視されても…お金はすべてではないと本気で言えるんだとも思う！
俺たち日本人はそれに耐えられるだろうか？いや、ほとんどの人たちはそうではないと思う…
そしてそこから妬みが生まれる…
村上さんやホリエモンが妬ましかっただけなのさ…
それを認められるかな！？
たぶん無理だな…悲しいことに、どっちにしろそれを認めても遅すぎる…
もう戻る道は無い…村上さんだけでなく、俺たちも…。

ひとしずくの水が甕を溢れさせる
英語のthe straw that broke the camel's back
（らくだの背骨を折った藁）と同義。
日本語では、「堪忍袋の緒が切れる」ときの
最後に堪忍袋を切らせるもののこと。
英語では、その堪忍袋を切らせる最後の物を
"the last straw"という。
やはり行きすぎ、やりすぎは危険だ。
出る杭は打たれるという諺もある。
人間は、何か手に入れると、次が欲しくなる。
みんな一緒だから、人のことは言えない。
罪を犯すのは許すまじきことだが、
村上氏がやったことは、我々日本人の
欲そのものを映し出した行為ではないだろうか。
