I had another pleasant day of sleep as I wanted my body to rest for the coming week.
I woke up and bet for the filly running for the triple crown.
Unfortunately, Rhein Kraft was only a neck short of sweeping the Ouka Sho (the Japanese 1000 Guineas), The NHK Mile Cup and today's Shuka Sho (http://210.168.85.50/cgi-bin/db2www.cgi/
jair0003.d2w/report?race_ymd=20051016&race_jo_cd=08&race_no=11) for an irregular triple crown.
No one can blame the cute filly, Air Messiah born from a beautiful line with her mother Air Deja Vu as the runner up at the Oaks and third at both the Ouka Sho and Shuka Sho in 1998.
Don't worry. We're going to see a triple crown horse next week. An unbeaten one!

この可憐な牝馬を誰も責められないよね。エアメサイアは１９９８年にオークスで２着、そして桜花賞と秋華賞をともに３着したエアデジャヴーを母に持つ美しい血統から生まれたのだから。
まぁ、いいってことよ。来週、三冠馬が見られるんだから。しかも負け無しの！
Right after the race, a mild earthquake of M5.1 hit the Kanto Area with a Japanese tremble scale of 4 hitting Suginami Ward of Tokyo and many other areas. I hopped into my car and went to my office.
I was relieved to see the mood being calm at my office. Undermanned Sundays are always a weakness of crisis management with our jobs.
With everything all right, I went to the streets to do some shopping. Buying things like clothes to wear this autumn and a bunch of CDs I can listen to with my Hard Disc Walkman. Shopping once in a while is fun, ain't it!?
レースの直後に、マグニチュード５点１の中規模な地震が関東地区を襲って、東京の杉並区などたくさんの場所で震度４を観測した。車に飛び乗って、職場に出かけた。
職場でみんな落ち着いてたのを見て安心した。この仕事では、人手不足の日曜日はいっつも危機管理的には弱点だから。
すべて良しということで、繁華街へショッピングに。秋に着るための服を買ったり、ハードディスクウォークマンで聞くためのＣＤをたくさん買ったり。時々ショッピングするのって楽しいよね！？
I went home to watch the Hawks-Marines battle with a live broadcast by TV Tokyo. I believe it was a great decision to broadcast the dramatic series (the first time a TV station live broadcasted this breathless series, excluding the cable and satellite channels).
the Marines failed to clinch for the Nippon Series as the Hawks finished with a 3-2 win. A split decision by the judges about a swing at bat by a Marine decided the teams fate.
The series is tied and whichever team wins, it's gonna be a real tough Nippon Series for the Tigers. Can't wait for the thrilling battle to become the Japanese champions!!
家に戻って、テレビ東京で生中継をやっていたホークス対マリーンズの試合を見た。このドラマティックなシリーズを放映するのは好判断だったと思うよ（この息もつけないシリーズが地上波で生放映されたのはこれが初めて。ケーブルとＣＳチャンネルを除いて）。
写真：ホークスが３対２で勝って、マリーンズは日本シリーズへ駒を進めるのに失敗した。マリーンズ側のこの打席でのスイングに対する審判の判断が分かれたことで、マリーンズの運命は決した。
シリーズはこれでタイになったが、どちらのチームが勝ってもタイガースにとって日本シリーズはかなり厳しくなりそうだ。日本一になるための手に汗を握る試合を早く見たいな！！

ただし、「恐怖で」という感じの方が
気分的に近い。
野球の試合って本当にマジな試合は怖い。
ここでミスをしたら、終わり。
そんなときってマジで怖い。
でもそんな瞬間が見たいから
野球ってやっぱし生で見たくなるんだよね。
昨日のサヨナラはネットでしか
見れなかったけど、本当に恐ろしい
breathlessな試合だった。
