Quite sleepy after giving every smile I can yesterday night, I made it to the Diet at 8:30 AM to be at the ministral press conference.
It's been about two years since I came to this center of politics... But it's just as always!
LOTS OF REPORTERS!!

昨夜に出せる笑顔をすべて出し切ったあとだけにかなり眠たい。大臣記者会見のために何とか朝の８時半に国会に着いた。
この政治の中枢に来るのは、約２年ぶりだ…。でもいつも通りだ！たっくさんの記者記者！！

　国会っていろんな訳があるよね。
　アメリカだとCongressだし、
　イギリスだとParliamentだ。
　Dietなんて全く親しみが無い英語だけど
　誰が最初に訳したんだろう。
　なお、国会議事堂は日本なら
　the Diet Building
　アメリカならthe Capitol
　イギリスならthe Houses of Parliament
　になる。
