I woke up early enough, just around noon, to go see my friend. This friend always has a late start and tries to show his spirit by spurting on the last second, never reaching the top, but doing a pretty good job, inspiring guys like me.
It was too bad my friend gained 18 kilos of weight since his last appearance, which was also a 16-kilo overweight since I met him at Kyoto.

友達に会いに行くのに間に合う程度の早さで起きられた。ちょうど正午ごろだ。この友達はいっつも出遅れて、最後の瞬間に追い込みをして、意気込みをを見せようとするんだよなぁ。必ず一番にはなれないけど、まぁまぁの働きを見せて、俺みたいなのを発奮させるんだよなぁ。
残念なことに、友達は最後にご登場したときよりも１８キロも体重が増えてた。俺が京都で会ったときよりも１６キロ増だよ、それって。

Akihiro Yano hit a pair of two-run homers and Tomoaki Kanemoto blasted a three-run homer to lead the Hanshin Tigers to an 11-5 win over the Yakult Swallows on Sunday.
Yano gave Hanshin a 4-2 lead in the third inning by connecting off Shugo Fujii (9-10) after Central League RBI leader Makoto Imaoka tied the game with a solo homer at Koshien Stadium.
