First day of vacation!

タイトル：夏休み１日目！

But just like any weekend, I woke up very late...
well it was 1:30, so not too late...


Tokyo Tower at the Shiba Park area...
At Shinbashi, dads were fighting their brains off in front of large Japanese chess (shogi) boards...
Roppongi was still quiet but there was another building complex being built... no ends to the construction rush in this city...

To look for something, I rode my bike around, taking another look at Metropolis Tokyo on the way. I don't know if I'll be in Tokyo next summer, as I plan to ask for a transfer after this year. But this city is too large to conquer all, so why not ride through it slowly with a bicycle.
Rode through Yoyogi- Shibuya- Ebisu- Shirogane- Mita- Shinbashi- Roppongi- Aoyama- Shibuya. Many things along the way... newly built buildings and artificial beauties peculiar to megacities... but not moving...
Maybe this city would turn out to be somewhere completely different when I can find someone I dearly would like to walk with!!

the high school baseball tournament ended with South Hokkaido's Komadai Tomakomai HS beating Kyoto Gaidai Nishi HS 5-3...
it was long thought that a Hokkaido team would NEVER win a baseball tournament till last year when this team first captured the title...
and this team surprisingly won two years in a row!! nothing is impossible, isn't it!?


だったけど、いつもの週末のように、すごく遅く起きちゃった…。
まぁ、１時半だったから、そんなに遅くないか…。

新橋では、お父さんたちがでかい将棋盤の前で頭脳戦を繰り広げてた…
六本木はまだ落ち着いてたけど、またでっかいビル群が建設中だった…建設ラッシュに終わりがないな、この街には…。

あるものを探すために自転車を乗り回した。メトロポリス東京を今一度見物しながら。来夏は東京にいるのかどうか分からない。今年が終わったら異動を願い出ようと思ってるから。しかしこの街は征服するのに大きすぎる。だからゆっくり自転車で乗り回すのでもいっか。
代々木－渋谷－恵比寿－白金－三田－新橋－六本木－青山－渋谷を通った。色んなものが途中であった…。新しく建てられたビルや巨大都市によくあるような人工的で美しいものが…でも感動的ではない…。
ひょっとしたらこの街は、一緒に歩きたいと心から思える人が見つかったら、全く違う場所に見えるようになるかも知れない！！

長い間、北海道のチームが野球大会を勝つことはあり得ないと思われていた。このチームが去年、優勝するまでは…
そして驚くことにこのチームは２年連続で勝っちゃった！！不可能なことって、ないんやね！？
