After working for more than 26 hours in a row, there were so many topics in the newsroom. Not just that the typhoon had chosen to come straight to the Kanto area rather than visiting the our friends in western Japan.

typhoons' predicted path given out this afternoon... the path turned eastward this morning right towards the Kanto area!!
２６時間連続で働いたあと、たくさんのニュース項目があった。台風が西日本の仲間たちのところに寄らずに直接、関東に向かうことを決めたことだけでなく。
まずは…午前０時４２分ごろ、Ｍ７．３の地震（気象庁の推定で）がニコバル諸島付近のインド洋で発生した；陸上自衛隊が平和的な目的のために駐留するイラク南部の友好的な町サマワでテロがあった；日本道路公団の副総裁が突然、橋梁建設の入札妨害（不正操作）幇助の疑いと背任の疑いで検察に逮捕された；北朝鮮の核計画についての六カ国協議とスペースシャトル・ディスカバリーの打ち上げが近づいている。
台風は必要なものを全部揃えられたかな？
おまえの世話をしているだけで十分なんだけどなぁ…。
そしてどうしてか分からないけど、東京の方へ直に向かってきてるんだよ…。うぐ…。
