At work today, I was told to find new themes to pursue. I kinda feel there wouldn't be any big disasters for a while (well... HOPEFULLY...), so I gotta think of ways to live through peaceful days with something that will excite my beating heart of journalism.
Well forget about reality for a while... All through the night, I had drinks with my "douki"s, my colleagues entering this job at the same year, as we had a modest(?) party sending off two of our doukis abroad. I wish them luck and I firmly believe they have a bright future. We'll always remember to support them at any circumstances, and we promised we'll help each other for whatever reason! ...and the beer was tasty as ever tonight!
And above all, having a good time was just perfect for my birthday!!

タイトル：自分に誕生日おめでとう！
自分にとっての新しい年の始まりのはずだったんですが、結局いつもと変わらない一日となってしまった。
きょ うは職場で、今後追いかけることができる新しいテーマを探すように言われた。何となくしばらくでっかい災害が起きないような気がするし（まぁ…そう 願ってるってことよ…）、平和な日常を過ごしていくために報道精神の鳴り響く鼓動をさらにかき立ててくれる何かを見つけないといけない。
まぁ とにかくしばらく現実のことは忘れて…。一緒に仕事を始めた「同期」たちと夜通し飲んだ。海外に出る同期２人のささやかな（？）歓送会を開いた。２人 には幸運を祈ってるし、明るい未来が待っていると強く信じている。いかなる状況でも支えていくつもりだし、いかなる理由でもお互いを助け合うことを誓い 合ったのさ！…そしてビールはいつも以上に美味かったのさ！
そして何より、楽しい時間を過ごすのは自分の誕生日にとってもぴったりだったのさ！！
