Deutsche Botschaft (German Embassy)
So it wasn't a dream after all to go to the "Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft Deutschland 2006" as the top news for today was still about celebrating Japan's qualification.
I went to the German Embassy today in Minami Azabu, to get an interview to hear our old friends feeling happy as well. Not just because the German Year in Japan is under way, Germany had been a senior partner footballwise, and I think it's natural they'd feel a little honored to see their younger brother being the first to qualify.
The interviewee payed some lip service to us as he mentioned his dream of seeing the Germans play the Japanese team in the final game in Berlin. We were all laughing, but in my mind I was saying... "hey! that's not an impossibility!"
Well ya know... I can dream all I want at this stage, right!?
