Not my day...

タイトル：ツイてねぇなぁ…

Going on location today.
Just about the time we were going to film, around 1:30 PM, the rain stopped and the sun came out... just magnificently!

So, I thought it was my lucky day, and Satsuki Sho was going to be mine!

Listening to the radio while were on the move, I found out it was far from being my day...

今日はロケに出た。
撮影を丁度始めようと思った午後１時半頃、雨が止んで太陽が出てきた…ほんと見事に！
だから、きょうはツイてる日やと思った。そして皐月賞は俺の物だと！
移動中にラジオを聞いてたら、ツイてる日にはほど遠いことが分かった…。

Meisho Samson and Dream Passport, who were 1st and 3rd in the Spring Stakes, easily left behind my favorite Fusaichi Richard, a runner up in the same race...
the most favorite of today's race, Admire Moon finished fourth, the 2nd favorite and undefeated Fusaichi Junk third... and Richard a disappointing fifth finish.

写真：メイショウサムソンとドリームパスポート、スプリングステークスの１着と３着が、贔屓の同レースで２着だったフサイチリシャールを軽く置き去りにした…
今日のレースの一番人気アドマイヤムーンは４着に終わり、２番人気で無敗のフサイチジャンクは３着…そしてリシャールは残念な５着に終わった。（英語の結果ＵＲＬ）

I did my work all right... but it just wasn't my day!!
仕事はちゃんと出来た…でもツイてる日ではなかったようだ！！

　日本語に直訳しちゃうと、
　「俺の日じゃねぇなぁ…。」
　何かしっくり来ない。

　ツイてねいなぁ…ツイてねぇ！
　やっぱし意訳の方がいいのだ。
