Waking up again in the afternoon, I headed out to play basketball for about half an hour and watched the Japan Cup Dirt on TV away from home.

The race was so exciting with three horses battling just until their last footsteps.

The focal point of the race was whether Kane Hekili, owned by the same owner as Deep Impact become an international champ with jockey Yutaka Take.

また午後に目が覚めて、バスケを３０分ほどやりに出かけた。ジャパンカップダートは出先のテレビで見た。
最後の一歩まで３頭の馬が叩き合うかなり盛り上がったレースになった。
レースの焦点はディープインパクトと同じオーナーが持つカネヒキリが武豊を載せて国際王者になるのかどうかだった。

but it turned out to be a record breaking victory only a nose in front of the runner up Seeking The Dia...

でも結局、レコード破りの勝利となった。２着のシーキングザダイヤのほんのハナだけ前に出て…。

I had a 500 yen bet on the quinella of the two horses in front which saved me from all the losses from the other races, but it was quite regretful I had a bunch of trio tickets with Kane Hekili and Time Paradox which turned all into rubbish as Time Paradox finishing fourth... too bad...

Well, let's see who will claim to be the champion of the turf tomorrow at the Japan Cup!!

前２頭の馬連５００円分を持っていたので、他のレースで負けた分は救われたが、カネヒキリとタイムパラドックスとの３連単をたらふく持っていたのが悔やまれる。タイムパラドックスは４着に終わり、全部紙屑に変わった…。残念…。

さぁて、明日ジャパンカップでターフの王者にどの馬がなるのか楽しみだ。
