In each of the last two World Cups there were ticketing problems.
Double booking at the French World Cup. We found out tons of tickets unsold even after the opening in the Korea-Japan World Cup. And this time it's about a travel agent messing with a Chinese counterpart failing to obtain tickets for a thousand or so customers.
Personally I think it's a minor problem, compared to those of the past which shook the public for quite a while. But obviously, the reports were treated well as we only have a week or so till the circus begins!

Tomorrow I have a crucial negotiation to nail to be able to cover a story related to the World Cup next week.

過去の２つのワールドカップそれぞれでチケット問題があった。
フランスワールドカップではダブルブッキング。日韓ワールドカップでは開幕後に大量のチケットが売れ残ってることが判明した。そして今回は旅行会社が中国の会社とゴチャゴチャして１０００人以上の客のチケットを手に入れられなかった話だ。
個人的には大した問題じゃないと思う。しばらくの間、社会を揺るがした過去のに比べてね。でも明らかにネタは大きく取り上げられた。お祭りが始まるまであと１週間とちょっとしか無いんだから！

来週にワールドカップ関連ネタを取材できるかどうかの重要な交渉が明日ある。
