Alone...

Alone on Valentine's Day... Oh yes, my colleagues were here until the working hours were over, but they left as there was no reason to keep them for overtime work as it was a really peaceful day. I'm sure everybody wants to rest as the Revolution frenzy is over.
I looked at the garden and was shocked that our housekeeper had trimmed all the plants including the rose plant that had fostered two blooming flowers...


oh... the plants are all trimmed...


oh no... where did they go!?


oh... there you are... poor thing...


just like me... is it over? and where is your partner?

you couldn't bloom before falling... very sad...

I was casting a reflection of myself on the yellow flower waiting for the latter one to catch up... now they're both dead... Oh well, I just have to believe they sacrificed their lives for me... Rest in peace!

It was a Friday... a Friday that I finally felt I was taking a rest... I was sleeping till 10AM which was perhaps the first time this year I was able to do so!
It was a very warm day but I stayed in my office to start cleaning up some mess, especially the accounting papers which I hadn't touched for nearly two weeks.
There were some tasks left for my collegues who had to leave the country today, but they handled them with no sweat and it was quickly the time for them to leave...
I was happy for them that they could leave this country without being to burned and I really felt that I was the one left behind. After seeing them off, as they were smiling saying good-bye, returning to my office alone, I really felt the pain.
Alone again, naturally...

I was surely happy to be able to talk with my wife on Skype though! I'm alone now, but I surely would like to see that change soon!

Emotion in Motion...

I hadn't posted any music titles for a while... I'm listening to music that I've smuggled into the nation alone and it's sad I can't share my love for music with anyone...

Late at night, I was listening to '80s classics by The Cars which I believe is one the best that heals my heart with titles like Drive and Magic.

I went a little further tonight by searching the web for the solo hit by their vocal, Ric Ocasek and I found the song I was looking for... I think it's one of the best healers to pop rock lovers!

Before going to my night shift work, I went out to watch a movie in the morning.
