Serious headache...

I had a headache and though I'm sure it wasn't because I had contracted swine flu, I really didn't like how it was seriously aching. I tried to finish my work as quickly as possible, and fortunately(?) there wasn't anything I had to write today. I finished work and returned to my home to take it easy and relax. It was getting better at night and I really hope it won't return tomorrow!

PS
Happy Birthday to my MOM!
I hope she'll stay healthy!
And I hope I can return to Japan to see her and Dad!

A birthday to celebrate!

It was my wife's birthday today... It was the start of another week and my staff were here to celebrate! We had pizzas together for lunch...

four different kinds!

And in the evening before the end of the working hours, while we had a power cut, she was congratualted with a cake!

her favorite cheese cake!

And how old she is... ??

a surprise!

and very tasty!

In the nighttime we went out to have dinner at a Mexican food restaurant. All of the visitors were smoking shisha (or ghalyun غلیون in Persian), and it was too smoky for my wife, but the food was good. I hope she had a really fine time in her first birthday in a crazy environment!

too dark to take a picture...

having ice cream bars for dessert!

Reaching the doorway...

We've finally reached the entrance to the great maze with many obstacles and booby traps... It would be a great challenge to reach the goal without stepping on the mines or fallling into a pitfall...
Some of the major appointments we still had to get were not finalized and without having these weapons I have to go through the maze unarmed. I'm sure I will receive heavy fire falling into an ambush or even a frontal attack by a much stronger force.
Oh, I'm always worried, as I do not have my weapon... being able to convince anyone with my own words and my expression of sincerity... yes, I'm empty-handed...

PS
Today we celebrated our colleague's birthday...

he told us it was yesterday, but we celebrated with a cake today!

snow again... not serious I hope...

I received an EMS mail from my dad...

of course... as expected... they open it! nicely taped back... not even hesitating to hide their evil doings! one day they're going to get the retribution for these doings... one day!

Another trip...

We went to Qom for the second time in 4 days. This time the outcome was both awful and progressive... It's hard to determine whether it was an inevitable result, but I'm sure God is not making things easy for us...
It could well be that it was a good decision not to go to Muscat as there would have chaos talking to my staff about today's outcome by phone. Also the Summit in the most eastern Gulf country had no surprises in its Communique and it would have been tough to squeeze through a report with short broadcasting time with such a result.
It was also splendid that I was able to celebrate one of my staff's birthday in Tehran with other members of my office. We could not have done so if we went to Muscat.
I just have to say to myself... yes, you've made the right decision!

the great mosque was being restored

PS
It was another day of celebration!

another one of my staff's birthday!

Escalating...

The attack in Gaza was expanding and the demonstration around the world was also escalating. Young ones in Tehran were also participating in demonstration and the heads and chiefs of organization were all announcing some sort of condemnation to the "Zionist Regime".
Before coming to Iran, I rarely had heard of the "Zionists". I hear the word so much that I'm also becoming tired of hearing all the sad happenings in the rivalled two states. It's too complex that there seems to be no way that the conflict will be resolved and all of the states around are making it more complex. I only hope peace will prevail, and maybe the return of Christ or the Advent of the Mahdi that the Twelvers believe can only solve it...

news channel was covering live the demonstrations in Tehran...

PS
We celebrated my staff's birthday!

with a cake!

very nice!

hey do you need some!?
