A need for healing...

I had to try to work a little today, before the weekday ends in Tokyo, but once again I couldn't fight off the weariness and fell into the hands of the sandman.
I've been informed that I might face a difficult mission next week and I had to use every minute of my time... even my private time... but sleeping was a necessity and I couldn't resist it...

I tried eating some of the snacks I brought from Japan to fight the stress off...

they were empty in less than thirty minutes...

In the evening, I finally went to my office and found out my new friend was still around...

it's really healing to see you...

don't bite my fingers off...

and... please don't bite my leg off too!!

Feeling a bit better

I felt a little better, but I still didn't feel well. I decided to stay in my office... At least there were no exciting news anyways...

For lunch I had my favorite dish...

le hambergere...
it looks like a Whopper, but surely doesn't taste like one!

And I also had some local berries...

very sour!
it reminded me that I should have more Vitamin C!
maybe that's why I'm not feeling good!

Arrhythmia!?

Today I engaged in some mandatory business that I had to get over before going abroad.

a thorough medical exam!
(known as "ningen(=human) dock" in Japanese)

All my parameters were prefectly fit into the healthy range, but I was told there was one flaw... a cardiac arrhythmia recorded just once...
I was told that it could have come from stress, and I answered back right away that my stress is at the peak right now, as the day to leave Japan is coming in exactly two weeks and I'm not ready at all!
The doctor told me that it is not so rare to diagnose an arrhythmia once, even though the check was done for less than five minutes if there is stress in the patient. He should know how much stress I have now and I hope this will not lead to a much serious event!

At night, I went out with my colleagues out for grilled beef, yakiniku. This is how I take the stress out of my body!

eating tasty beef!

PS
for the record...

the hot Korean style cold noodles, reimen, I ate after midnight (added later on)
