Being cautious...

Waking up at around six in the morning, I went to my office to send off my crew going to the east today where it is still warned by the MOFA that Japanese nationals should not enter. I had already gone once to this dangerous area, but this time I decided not to go and asked my staff to take the necessary pictures for me. I don't think my decision was wrong, but I'm sure it would have better off for my crew as they can have their lunch and drinks even though it's Ramazan as they can be treated as tourists who are allowed to eat and drink.
I was actually more worried about the plane that would take my precious staff as there were several accidents in this country recently and anything can happen. I received continuous reports from them that they were okay and I was very happy to hear they arrived safely in Tehran late at night. I was really relieved to hear that. I hope the air industry of this country will be safer as there's no other way to travel around in this large country. Thank God everything went fine today!

PS
My computer was heated up! I tried the same trick as before...

putting an iceberg on it! I think the speed was a bit faster... only just a bit...

Quietness after the festivals...

The festival was over. Still the Iranian news channels were filled with the stories about yesterday's ceremony showing thousands... perhaps millions of people marching in the streets all over the country. I've never seen such an event in Japan where all the people march and celebrate in the same day. Well, maybe on New Year's Day many people march to the temples but this enthusiasm is completely different.
It was a quiet day, but very rainy and I became very worried about tomorrow as we have to give out a live coverage from the central part of the city... I hope the weather would be fine... Inshallah...
It's almost midnight, but we have to give a live report for the morning news program in Tokyo in about 2 hours... Oh, tomorrow is going to be another, but hopefully the last, challenging day!

PS
It was raining quite strong today!

is the weather going to be okay tomorrow!?

checking every weather forecast site as possible!

While outside...I found a doll shop

filled with red dolls for Valentine's Day...

and teddy bears with a heart!
they say Valentine's Day is winning support here in a strictly Muslim country! interesting!

Reaching the doorway...

We've finally reached the entrance to the great maze with many obstacles and booby traps... It would be a great challenge to reach the goal without stepping on the mines or fallling into a pitfall...
Some of the major appointments we still had to get were not finalized and without having these weapons I have to go through the maze unarmed. I'm sure I will receive heavy fire falling into an ambush or even a frontal attack by a much stronger force.
Oh, I'm always worried, as I do not have my weapon... being able to convince anyone with my own words and my expression of sincerity... yes, I'm empty-handed...

PS
Today we celebrated our colleague's birthday...

he told us it was yesterday, but we celebrated with a cake today!

snow again... not serious I hope...

I received an EMS mail from my dad...

of course... as expected... they open it! nicely taped back... not even hesitating to hide their evil doings! one day they're going to get the retribution for these doings... one day!

Breakthrough!?

Early in the morning, I was given a call that Iran has annouced that they have sent their first homemade satellite into space. The last time I heard this, it was concluded that the thing that went to space was just a "dummy" and it was more of the testing of its domestic rocket. This time, they announced it was a real one! The launch was of course coincidental to the celebrations of the 30th Anniversary of the Revolution and anyone would get the message that Iran wants to emphasize its achievements. I'm told that there will be more achievements I would witness through the coming years, but sadly all I can do is watch the news and find out... just like anyone can in Tokyo!
There's only a week to go until the Anniversary! I gotta tell you how insecure I feel!!

snowing again... back to the cold!?

Mounting worries...

Oh please, why can't I smile feeling satisfied I've spent a great day. Each time I find out the day is over, I'm sighing. I really don't want to show how depressing it is to be in this position to my collegues and my staff, but I don't have the composure to be smiling!
I tried to do anything I can to change my mood... I cut my hair, I asked my staff to buy some cakes, and I took some time to watch the rose in the garden... still, my mood is very bad as mounting worries is squeezing my heart!

looking at the roses to cheer me up...
