No one will object to the fact that last year's incredible triple crown horse will be the SS's successor.

So a recap of SS's 11 years and the Derby...
SS has captured 6 Derbys. That's more than half his reigning years!
The other sires' records have not improved, so Brian's Time is the only horse that has given birth to more than one Derby colt.
So is it SS's turn again!? Hey wait...
ということでＳＳの１１年とダービーの総括…
ＳＳは６つのダービーを制した。これはＳＳが君臨してきた年数の半分以上だ！
他の種牡馬の成績は良くなってないので、一頭以上のダービー馬を出したのはブライアンズタイムだけだ。
またＳＳの番か！？ちょっと待ってよ…。

SS's grandson That's the Plenty slid into third in 2003. Last year, another SS's grandson Inti Raimi secured the runner-up position. (without the great Deep, he would've even won it!) Transition time is already arriving!
It's a mystery that SS has never given birth to a Derby colt being a broodmare sire. Even Tony Bin has one (Admire Vega) 6 years after his son Winning Ticket captured the crowning race. (Well, Brian's Time doesn't have one either)
ＳＳの孫のザッツザプレンティが２００３年に３着に滑り込んだ。去年は別のＳＳの孫のインティライミが２着を確保した。（偉大なディープがいなかったら、勝ったかも！）移行期はすでに到来しているんだ！
ＳＳがブルードメアサイヤーとしてダービー馬を出していないのは不思議だ。トニービンでさえ一頭（アドマイヤベガ）、産駒のウイニングチケットが栄冠を獲得して６年後に出している。（まぁ、ブライアンズタイムも出してないけどね）

From the 9 colts left over from yesterday, Fusaichi Junk, Admire Main are the only "SS children".
There's many grandsons though, as Dream Passport (sire: Fuji Kiseki), Logic (sire: Agnes Tachyon), Toho Alan (sire: Dance in the Dark) being direct descendants of SS and Admire Moon (sire: End Sweep), Fusaichi Richard (sire: Kurofune), Sakura Mega Wonder (sire: Grass Wonder) having SS as the dam's sire.
The left over Meisho Samson's father is Opera House, like T.M. Opera O finishing third in 1999 after surprisingly capturing the Satsuki Sho just like Samson. T.M. Opera O's broodmare sire is Blushing Groom and Meisho Samson's is Dancing Brave, both being in the direct line of Nearco line. hmm... Samson's the goner tonight... he'll finish third! But Samson could capture more and more GIs later on like Opera O!
It's interesting Dream Passport's broodmare sire is Tony Bin (like Admire Vega). and Toho Alan's is Nureyev (like Jungle Pocket, son of Tony Bin).
昨日から残っている９頭のうち、フサイチジャンクとアドマイヤメインだけが「ＳＳ産駒」だ。
でも孫がたくさんいる。ドリームパスポート（父フジキセキ）、ロジック（父アグネスタキオン）、トーホーアラン（父ダンスインザダーク）がＳＳ直系で、アドマイヤムーン（父エンドスウィープ）、フサイチリシャール（父クロフネ）、サクラメガワンダー（父グラスワンダー）は母の父がＳＳだ。
残ったメイショウサムソンの父はオペラハウス。サムソンのように１９９９年に皐月賞で驚きの勝利を決めたあと３着に終わったテイエムオペラオーと同じように。テイエムオペラオーのブルードメアサイヤーはブラッシンググルーム。そしてメイショウサムソンはダンシングブレーヴ。両方ネアルコの直系だ。ふむ…。今夜はサムソンが消しだ…。３着に入るよ！でもサムソンはオペラオーのように後に次々とＧＩを勝てるよ！
ドリームパスポートのブルードメアサイヤーがトニービン（アドマイヤベガのように）で、トーホーアランがヌレイエフ（トニービンの子ジャングルポケットのように）というのも興味深い。
