Continuing is POWER!

タイトル：継続は力なり！

I don't know how to say this Japanese proverb in English, but my message is simple...
I continued writing my diary for a year!!
It wasn't hard to do so... there were days I only have written about 10 words.

英語でこの日本のことわざを何というのかは分からないけど、言いたいことは簡単です…。
１年間、この日記を書き続けました！！
大変でも何でもなかった…だって１０語程度しか書いてない日もあるんだから。

But as I'm keeping a backup for all of my posts, this diary will remain forever, and I can come back to see what I had done and what I had thought these days in the middle of a really dynamic point of age.
With something on my diary everyday, I can easily see the ebb and flow of my life. When I was happy and when I wasn't!
So I believe that continuing to do small things will eventually lead to success. Well then, maybe the proverb is something close to "Rome was not built in a day".

でもすべての書き込みのバックアップを取ってあるから、この日記は永遠に残る。そして人生の中でもかなりダイナミックなこの時期に、何をして何を考えたか、振り返ることができる。
日記に毎日何か書き込みがあることで、生活の浮き沈みが見事に分かる。嬉しかったときも、そうじゃ無かったときも！
ということで、俺はきっと小さなことも続けると立派なものになると信じてるんだね。そう言う意味では、このことわざは「ローマは一日にして成らず」というのに近いかな。

Little by little and bit by bit I will go on writing this diary.
And one day I will know how everyday was worth living, even if it were a painful day...
I'm lucky I always have something to write, you know!

少しずつ、こつこつと、この日記を書いていこう。
そしていつかは毎日が生きる価値がある日だと分かるだろう。それが例え痛々しい日でも…。
いつも何か書くことがあるっていうのはラッキーなことだよ、みんな！

Let's see what happens tomorrow!
Can't wait, right!?

待ってらんないよね！？

AND something for the first time again!

Today I was covering a international meeting at the United Nations University near Omotesando. I've covered international matters quite a bit, but surprisingly this was my first visit to UNU. There's still so many places I haven't visited in Tokyo!

きょうは表参道近くの国際連合大学で開かれた国際会議を取材した。国際的なネタはかなり取材してきたが、驚くことに国連大学を訪問するのはこれが初めてだ。東京で行ったことが無いところってまだまだたくさんあるね！

And I finished off my day eating gyozas with my elder colleagues. The cheap but delicious ones... maybe that's my style! Yeah, I'll try not to bite off more than I can chew!

そして先輩たちと餃子を食べて一日を終えた。やっすいけど、うっまいヤツ…。これが俺のスタイルかもね！そうだ、背伸びなんてしないよ！
