Snowy winter again?

タイトル：また雪が多い冬になるか？

It might not be a record-breaking snowy winter this time, as record snowfalls have already been observed last winter.
But we can have two snowy winters in a row, as just like last year, everytime we say we will have "warm winters", we have to remember there could be heavy snowfall anywhere, as such abnormality will catch up somewhere else, and that could be some heavy snowfall...
今回は記録的な大雪が降る冬にはならないかも知れない。去年にもう記録的な大雪が降ったばかりだし。
でも雪が多い冬が２回続いてもおかしくない。だって去年がそうだったように、毎回「暖冬」になるって言うたびに、どこででも大雪が降るおそれがあると覚えておかないといけない。だって異常現象ってどこかで辻褄を合わせようとするから。それが大雪になるかも知れない…。

a kind of snowfall that even cats would be satisfied...
that's the kind of snowfall we hope to get...
not the ugly kind...

I'm heading for overnight duty now, and I hope the snowfall in the mountainous areas won't get too heavy!!
