They all had nothing to do with my work, but so many things occuring in the world and here I am sitting in front of the computer dreaming just for a second, of a day I won't have to be bothered by the flash news of another distress. I'm totally aware that's a dream that reporters shouldn't dream of, and I know it's just a mere fancy.
But I'm originally a peace-lover, and I firmly believe I'm suited to do this job, because I know the value of peace and in return the importance of reporting on its destruction. I'd like to believe a warmonger would sometime dream of spending a peaceful day with families, just like the President would have a picnic in the ranch with his wife and daughters after crises.

No, it doesn't have to do with marriage as I'm single and Kimutaku and Shinjo have gorgeous wives. The other guys probably have cute girlfriends as some beauties are already shown in the pics, but sadly I don't got one, so that ain't it! ５ 日間休んだあと、仕事に戻り、泊まり勤務に入った。つまんない一日だったが、ウェブをサーフしてたら、幾つかでっかい ニュースがあった。事故や殺人といったイヤなニュースよりずっと明るいのが。幾つかのニュースはとるにとらない芸能界のゴシップ記事で、幾つかはスポーツ 界の盛り上がるような記事。
すべて俺の仕事には関係なかったが、世界では色んなことが起きてんだなぁ。その中で俺はコンピューターの前に座って、 考えてた。悲しい出来事を報じる速報に悩 まされることが無いような日が来ることをほんの一瞬だけ夢見てた。記者が夢見てはいけない夢だということは重々承知してるし、ただの気の迷いだということ もね。
でも俺は元々平和好きで、この仕事に向いてるのも平穏であることの価値を知ってるからこそ、それが破られたときに報道していくこ との重要性を分かっている からだと信じている。戦争屋だってたまには家族と平穏な暮らしをすることを祈っているだろうと信じたい。大統領が数々の危機の後に牧場で妻と娘たちとピク ニック でもしたいと思うように。
