I stayed up all night and worked on the reports about the snow attacking the Metropolitan area.
JMA shifted its forecast at 2:15AM after they observed 2cm of snow at central Tokyo and predicted that 5cm of snow will fall in the 23 wards including central Tokyo...
But snow was already changing to rain before 3AM and the snow gauge of central Tokyo observed only 1cm of snow depth at 3AM...
A mistake by the JMA!!
Well it turned out 5cm of snow depth were observed at Hachioji, at the western side of Tokyo, and there could've been some place where they would've observed that much snow in the 23 wards too... But for me at least, I think they made a mistake...

some snow barely left in the park!

JMA also announced the forecast of the high temperature for Tokyo to be a warm 16 degrees Celsius ... The sun didn't shine, and the high ended up to be 8.3 degrees! (only 6.8 degrees till 15PM)
I think this is also a mistake...
I know it's hard to predict how it snows when the "south coast" low pressure attacks the east, and I know it's tough to predict how the weather ends up in the turn of the seasons...
But it's in these kind of harsh conditions, I want see some professionalism from you guys!!
