Time for my favorites...

I just barely have any time to listen to my favorite music and read some of my favorite comics... only late at night when I'm all alone at home...
あんまり時間が無いんだよね。大好きな音楽を聴いたり、大好きな漫画を読んだりするのに…夜遅くに家で一人っきりになった時ぐらい…。

It was truly a coincidence I wrote about my favorite U2 song yesterday, as I swear I had no idea the announcement of the Grammy Awards were set for today.
The Grammy Awards is one of the important pieces of information for me to decide which CDs to buy, as I have limited ways of knowing which songs are great enough.
昨日大好きなＵ２ソングについて書いたのはマジで偶然。今日、グラミー賞の発表があるなんて全く知らんかったし。
グラミー賞はＣＤを買うときのための重要な判断材料の一つ。どの唄がイケてるのか知る方法ってそんなに無いから。

The album of the year, "How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" was true euphony to me in the first half of 2005.
I happened to listen to the record of the year, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", because the track was from "American Idiot", the album of the year of 2005.
I didn't buy Mariah's album, but I had Gwen's and Coldplay's. I thought "Hollaback Girl" and "Speed of Sound" were just above average, and unsurprisingly, were beaten by U2 and Green Day. I was surprised to see Keane in the best new artist nominees, as I'd already been stunned by them in 2004.
最優秀アルバム賞の「ハウ・トゥ・ディスマントル・アン・アトミック・ボム」は２００５年前半にマジで心地よく耳に響いたものだ。
年間最優秀レコード賞の「ブルヴァード・オブ・ブロークン・ドリームス」は、グリーン・デイの２００４年最優秀アルバム賞の「アメリカン・イディオット」からの楽曲だったので、たまたま聞いてた曲だ。
マライアのアルバムは買ってなかったけど、グウェンとコールドプレイのは持ってた。「ホラバック・ガール」と「スピード・オブ・サウンド」はとりあえず平均点以上だとは思っていたが、予想通りＵ２とグリーンデイに破れた。最優秀新人賞のノミネートに、すでに２００４年に魅せられていたキーンがいたのはびっくりした。

hey, I already have enough to start with...
I better get a hand on John Legend and Kanye West and maybe Kelly Clarkson and Mariah Carey...

I even did some "stand-up reading" at convenience stores just to read this cartoon.
saaad to hear I can't read this dirty comic anymore...
