It was a beautiful sunny day.
Nothing special, but I feel a little happy in this kind of day!


no time to eat lunch before my appointment at Yotsuya, so I had a quick one at the bench of a park!

美しい晴れの日だった。
特別なことはないけど、なんかこういう日って少し幸せに感じられる！

写真：四谷のアポの前に昼飯を食べている時間が無かったから、サクッと公園のベンチで食べた。

It's fortunate I can go outside and meet people at my pace unless it's urgent, getting proper information faster than the public and being able to shuffle my brain thinking about the best ways to notify our audiences about new things...

Getting all tired and going out to drinks all the time to soothe my distress may be the only threat to my health, as I'm still in a stage I can take all the physical and mental intesity of this job.

緊急じゃなければ、自分のペースで外に出て人と会うことができて、一般の人よりいち早く的確な情報を手に入れて、頭の中をかき混ぜながら視聴者に伝える最良の方法はどうだろうと考えることができる。恵まれてるよね…。
思いっきり疲れて、苦痛を和らげるためにいつも飲みに行っちゃうことが健康への唯一の脅威だと思う。まだまだこの仕事の体力的・精神的な厳しさに耐えられるステージにいるし。

If you're willing to take the challenge, I suggest you try this job. If it's too late to transfer, I advise you try your public relations division for a couple of years. You surely will taste the intesity of working with so many people not only of the outside world, but also of your own organization.

The PR division of the bureaucrats may still be working this time of night as they must take care of the new ministers' interviews by the media this week. I can't get too sympathetic with them, but I surely understand how tough it is to take care of us, and the same time bear the brunt of their colleagues.
I hope they have a way to soothe their distress too!

もし挑戦してみる気持ちがあるのなら、この仕事をやってみて欲しい。もう転職するのは遅すぎるのなら、数年間、広報部門に所属してみるのも良いと思うよ。外の世界だけでなく、自分の組織のかなりたくさんの人と一緒に仕事をする濃密さが味わえるよ。

役所の広報部門はまだこの時間でも働いてるかも知れないね。今週メディアが行う新大臣のインタビューの準備をしているはずだから。あんまり彼らに同情はできないけど、我々の相手をしながら、同時に同僚たちの矢面に立つことがどれぐらい大変なことなのかはマジでわかるよ。
彼らも厳しさを和らげる方法があればいいんだけどね！

　officer(PA officer)としていた。
　記者になると最初に仲良くなり、
　そして喧嘩もするようになる
　良くも悪くも記者人生で
　一番よく付き合う部門。
　ここを担当すれば
　記者ってどんな奴らか
　よくわかるようになる。
　良くも悪くも…。
