After going to bed at around 4AM, as I was watching a DVD that had to do with work, it was really fast to find out it was just before noon.
I rushed to Fuchu to meet my elder colleague, and took my bets on quite a number of races. The biggest race of the day was The Queen Elizabeth 2 Commemorative Cup(GI) raced at Yodo of Kyoto.
I completely thought the undefeated Kawakami Princess had captured her third crown easily...
I ran to the train station right after the race to be in time for a five o'clock appointment. While I was riding the Keio train, my elder colleague sent me an e-mail to my phone, informing me that Kawakami was stripped of her third crown as she was found guilty of blocking Yamanin Sucre's way. Fusaichi Pandora was knocked up to the winner position and Sweep Tosho to the runner up spot. Sadly, Dia de la Novia, which I had all my bets on the quinella only advanced to the third position ruining any chances of getting a payback...
Oh, what a horrible day it was...
仕事関係のＤＶＤを見ていて、朝４時ぐらいに寝た。そして、気が付いたら、あっと言う間に昼前になっていた。
府中に急いで、先輩と合流。かなりの数のレースに賭けた。最も大きなレースは京都の淀で開催されたエリザベス女王杯（ＧＩ）だった。
写真：無敗のカワカミプリンセスがてっきり３冠目を獲得したと思った…
５時のアポに間に合わせるためにレース直後に駅に走った。京王電車に乗っている間に、先輩が携帯にメールを送ってきて、カワカミがヤマニンシュクルの進路を妨害したとして、３冠目を剥奪されたことを知らせてきた。フサイチパンドラが勝者として繰り上がり、スィープトウショウが２着に。悲しいことに、すべての馬連を注ぎ込んでいたディアデラノビアは３着にしか上がらず、払い戻しへの希望は叶わなかった…
あー、なんてひどい日なんだ…
