Who is to blame!?

タイトル：誰を責めればいいの！？

The week started with a surprise visit by our PM to the famous Yasukuni Shrine. (see http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2321.html)

We just had a decision at the high court level that the PM's visit to the Yasukuni Shrine is suspiciously unconstitutional. (read http://www.japantimes.com/cgi-bin/getarticle.pl5?nn20051001a1.htm)
But this fearless leader easily stepped into the grounds of this strongly influential shrine this morning.
I really don't care what our Asian neighbors say about our leader's behavior, as it's purely our attitude that is in question. We have to decide for ourselves what we shall do this "Yasukuni Issue".
It's not a new issue at all. We had to make a decision after PM Yas' visit in 1983. So it's not our reckless leader to blame... it's ourselves to blame on!
It's not late at all. It's about time to decide!

ちょうど高裁レベルで首相の靖国参拝はかなり憲法違反くさいと判断が出たばかりなのに。（英語での記事を読んでみよう）
でもこのおそれを知らないリーダーは、今朝いとも簡単にこの多大な影響を及ぼす神社の境内に踏み込んだ。
アジアの隣人たちが我々のリーダーが取る態度になんて言おうがどうでも良い。問題は純粋に我々の態度にあるんだから。この「靖国問題」にどう対処するのか我々自身で判断しないといけない。
新しい問題でもない。１９８３年にヤス首相が参拝したときに判断しなければならなかったんだ。だから向こう見ずなリーダーを責めても仕方がないんだ…。我々自身を責めないといけないんだ！
まだ遅くない。そろそろ判断すべきだよ！

And as I worked, my eyes were on... well not just my eyes... almost everybody's eyes were...

Yes, it was the Marines that smiled at the end. The Hawks couldn't make the championship series even though they finished the regular season on top. TWO YEARS IN A ROW! It's like giving the Wild Card a chance to become No. 1, but I wouldn't admit it if I were a Hawks fan...

And for the Tigers, going for the championship after the last one 20 years ago is something of a challenge as the Mariners only had won the championship 31 years ago! (And their team's name was the Orions at that time! Yes, I was a two year old when they won... nothing left in my memory...)
I think many would cheer for the miraculous team... Umm...
C'mon Tigers, we can't let affection rule our feelings!
Let's put an end to their roll to the top!

働きながら、目はこれに…。いや、俺の目だけじゃなくて…ほとんどみんなの目が…。

写真：そう。最後に笑ってのは、マリーンズだった。ホークスはレギュラーシーズンを１番で終えたのに、王者を決めるシリーズに進出できなかった。２年連続で！ちょうどワイルドカードに一番になるチャンスを与えるのと一緒だ。でも俺がホークスファンだったら許せねぇなぁ…。

そしてタイガースにとっては、２０年ぶりに王者になるのを目指すのはかなりの挑戦になる。マリーンズにとっては３１年ぶりのことになるのだから！（しかも その時のチームの名前はオリオンズ！そうだな、彼らが勝ったとき、俺ってまだ２歳じゃん…。なーんにも覚えてないんですけど…。）
たくさんの人がこのミラクルチームを応援すると思う…。うーむ…。
こらタイガース、情にほだされてはいかんのだ！
トップに向かって波に乗る奴らに引導を渡そうぜ！
