this is the place for me! For the Grade 2 Mainichi Okan(=Crown), I bet heavily for Company (No.16) and Telegnosis (No. 4). Cosmo Bulk (No.9) seemed a little overweight.

This season's racing started this weekend at Fuchu Racing Course and though there were some light showers from time to time, I took the train and enjoyed my stay for about a moderate two hours.
When I'm tired... fed up with work, private life... everything! I just come here in front of this view of this vast straight course.
Here everybody can be honest.

今週末から府中競馬場で今季のレースが始まった。時々小雨が降ったけど、電車に乗って行って、適度な２時間の滞在を楽しんだ。
疲れたとき、仕事や私生活で目一杯になったとき…そうすべてのとき！とにかくここに来る。広々とした直線コースが前にそびえ立つここに。

Amusement at Fuchu only lasted for a couple of hours as I've been gathering information about the quake hitting South Asia from the morning. After confirming there wouldn't be anything new among the specialists of seismology and earthquake engineering until nighttime, I fled to see the thoroughbreds.
At around five o'clock I was at my office again to find any moves being made by the specialists. We do have many questions about what happened at the scenes of this disaster. Until I find out, I'd have to give up seeing my four-legged friends at the race course!
府中での楽しみは数時間しか持たなかった。朝から南アジアを直撃した地震についての情報を集めていたから。夜まで地震学や地震工学の専門家の間に動きがないことを確認したあと、サラブレッドたちを見に行こうと逃げ出した。
５時頃にはまた職場にいて、専門家たちの動きが無いか探し回った。災害の現場で起きたことにたくさんの疑問はある。その答えが見つかるまで競馬場で４本足の友達を見るのは我慢しないとね！
