Farewell to the great ones...

Ogenki de!! See you again!!

A big farewell party tonight sending off our colleagues and companions setting their paths to another quest in their career.
Most were my predecessors I admire because of all they have achieved and listening to their odes to the younger, remaining ones like me, was quite emotional.
Their speeches were deeply impressive as always and though I was sensitive and nervous these several months feeling distress with my working environment, it was enough for me to snap out of the DARK SIDE.
Just as they did to me, I'm sure my great collegues will strike the souls of the younger at their new workplace and they surely earn our promise... that they shall always be proud of where they have worked, because I will promise them we will maintain and even improve the glamor of our office in Tokyo.
They will of course return to check if we will keep our promise as we will eternally be working together as long as we work for the same organization for the same reason... to bare the premeditated plans of evil and keep on searching for any way to make our lives better and save the oppressed souls!!
...And therefore this is only a temporary farewell!!

今夜は大送別会を開いて仕事の次なる冒険に旅立つ同僚や仲間たちに別れを告げた。
ほとんどがこれまでに成し遂げた仕事がすごい、俺が尊敬する先輩たちだ。彼らが俺のように残る、若い人たちに送ることばを聞いて、かなり感動した。
彼らの話はいつも通りすごく印象深くて、ここ数ヶ月は職場の環境のことで悩んでいたために感情的で神経質になっていたが、ダークサイドの魔の手から抜け出すには十分だった。
俺にしたように、きっと偉大な仕事仲間たちはそれぞれの新任地にいる若い人たちの心をうってくれるだろう。そして彼らへ俺たちも約束をしなければ…彼らが 働いていたところにいつまでも誇りを持てるようにいられることを。東京にある俺たちの職場の魅力は維持するどころか改良を加えてみせると約束する。
彼らには勿論、約束を守っているのか戻って確認してもらおう。だって俺たちはこの組織で同じ理由で働き続ける以上は永遠に一緒に働いているのだから…。悪の謀略を暴いて、世の中をよくするための方法を探求し続け、虐げられたものたちを救い出すことを！！
…だからこれはほんの一時的な別れにしかすぎないんだ！！

　先駆者・開拓者のpioneerは「初」のニュアンスが
　入っているが、predecessorは自分より前にという
　ニュアンスが入っている。後輩ならsuccessor。
