The prosecutors asked for 4 years in prison today at his trial, a moderate demand which could lead to a judgement of guilty with several years of suspended imprisonment.
Horiemon is pleading not guilty and the prosecutors are surely looking for imprisonment without a stay of execution, but hmm... it could well be a sentence with a suspended term for Horiemon with this subtle request from the prosecutors...

検察官たちはきょう、彼の裁判で懲役４年を求刑した。この程度の求刑なら数年の執行猶予付きの有罪判決につながるかも知れない。
ホリエモンは無罪を主張しているし、検察官らは当然、実刑判決を取りたいと思ってるはずなんだが、うーむ…検察官らによるこの微妙な求刑でホリエモンは執行猶予付きの判決になるかもね…
