long time no see...
When I was a college boy, I used to watch the each races, seeing an exciting match between our idol, Ayrton Senna and the fighter Nigel Mansell.
I still remember the day in 1994 when Senna lost his life racing at San Marino, and after his death, Michael Schumacher's long reign started, ending my interests to the races.
Watching the opening Bahrain GP tonight, it was interesting to find out Schumacher is now in the edge of retiring, being overridden by a young champion racer, Fernando Alonso.
Hmm... finally I'm starting to feel some sympathy with the "old" former absolute German champion.
Maybe I'll try to watch as many as I can this year!

and the new all-Japanese team started its career...
I sure hope they can make a legend!!

そして深夜にＦ１を見て。
長い間見てなかったなぁ…。
大学生だったとき、すべてのレースを見てた。俺たちの憧れだったアイルトン・セナとファイターのナイジェル・マンセルが手に汗を握る戦いを見てた。
まだ１９９４年にセナがサンマリノでのレースで落命した日を覚えている。そして彼の死のあと、ミハイル・シューマッハの長期支配が始まった。そして俺のレースへの興味も終わった。
今夜開幕戦のバーレーンＧＰを見て、シューマッハが引退の危機に陥っていることを知ったのは感心深かった。フェルナンド・アロンソという若いチャンピオン・レーサーに追い越されていたんだ。
ふーむ…ようやく「年老いた」元絶対的なドイツ人王者に同情の気持ちが湧いてきたかな。
今年はできるだけ多く見るようにするかな！
