Turning Point - Seven Years Ago...

It was the seventh anniversary of the terrorist attack on American soil. It feels that the day that changed the world is so far away and there had been so many things after that day.
The Japanese Air Self Defense Force was announced their pull out from the Middle East by the end of this year. Their first dispatch to Kuwait also seems to me as an event so many years ago, but I still remember waiting in the desert to film the C-130s flying back from Iraq...
I've come far away, and I still don't know why I'm here. How did I get here!? In that sense, I think 911 had changed my life too. I really didn't mind being a domestic correspondent in Japan, but somehow my destiny has changed, and I'm here again in the Middle East.

It was a peaceful day and there were many things I was thinking about... reports to make, getting money from Japan, wrapping up the accounts... all about work...
But what is more important is my life. What am I going to do with my life!? Oh there's so many things to think about... I'll try to leave it for tomorrow, if I'll be lucky enough to take a day off!

PS
I miss Behruz...

but there's always animals around in the garden... hey kitty...

My dinner...

the chelow kebab... with grilled tomatoes and raw onions...
