NO. Not the game. It was miraculous I got home without any info on which team won. Shutting out the sattelite channel, shutting out the evening news, shutting out the internet, shutting out the Kyodo flash reports. Riding taxis are dangerous as the news are shown above the front seat for customers to see. Looking at the newspaper stand in a convenience store was also another trap I almost fell to. NO ONE should dare talk about the Super Bowl around me! I took the bus home with my walkman, volume pumped up to maximum.
And I saw the game recorded on my hard disc player. The first half wasn't impressing, but the second half was entertaining. But... Why did the Eagles let the time tick by so quickly on their 4th quarter touchdown drive?
Their fate was mostly over when they couldn't recover the onside kick, but I wish they would've been a little more professional on the final minutes.
Well that's that. The AFC took the Trophy again. Another half an year till the excitement returns. And heaven only knows what will happen to my beloved 49ers?
