Running on a different sphere!

タイトル：別の次元で走ってる！

It was supposed to be just an ordinary Sunday for me. A pretty cool day as the typhoon stayed away from mainland Japan.
Going to the hoops, getting a haircut, going shopping for daily necessities (bought a new pillow!), washing my clothes...
BUT watching something that just seems to be hyper-real knocked me out of this "ordinary Sunday" mood!


this horse belongs to a different sphere... I even feel sorry for the other horses as they will never be able to win a race with this fellow running even with only half its ability...
Deep Impact will not be a triple crown horse... yes,it probably will be a pentuple crown horse this year. And who knows how many more crowns he'll capture next year anywhere in the world!

きょうはいつも通りの日曜日にあるはずだった。かなり涼しめの日。台風が日本の本土に近づくことは無かったから。
バスケやって、髪切って、日用品を買いに行って（新しい枕買っちゃった！）、洗濯して…。
でも超現実的なものを見てこんな俺の「いつも通りの日曜日」ムードを吹き飛ばした！

この馬は別の次元にいるようだ…他の馬が可哀想に思えてくる。だってこいつが半分の能力で走ってもきっと勝てないだろうから…。
ディープインパクトは３冠馬にはならない。そう、たぶん今年だけで５冠馬になるだろう。そして来年は全世界であと何冠獲ることになるだろうか！

　色んな言い方があると思うけど、
　次元という意味のdimensionは
　「次元が違う」という意味では
　あまり使わないようだ。
　ちなみに３次元はthree dimensionsで
　3-D（スリーディー）はこの略。
　ガキのころ、普通よりすごいものは
　何でも「うわ、スリーディーだぜ！」
　Wow, it's 3-D, man!って言ってたから
　「次元が違う」と言うより、
　「多次元だ」という言う方が
　「すげー」って意味だったかも。
