It could've been worse!

タイトル：思ったよりマシだった！

Another day together with Nabi and altogther our nation lost 18 people, and 9 still missing after the typhoon creeped up to Hokkaido late at night.

Many lost their lives because of landslides, unlike those in the U.S. where many were killed by flooding only. The large rivers held on tight and avoided unmerciful destruction in the cities.

Comparing the two stroms near the time of impact of landing, Katrina seems to be more tight concentrating all its strength in the eye, and Nabi, with a larger eye, seems to be more loosened up, but with a much larger storm zone and heavy rain area.
It's not appropriate to say which is better or worse when it's about natural disasters, but I think there could've been more damage by the typhoon, and I hope everybody learned their lessons and prepare for the next.

The storm season is still not away. Last year we had a deadly typhoon in October killing 95 (and 3 missing).

I must concentrate now on my jobs awaiting with the election coverage on Sunday, but I won't take my eyes off from the evil buds of disasters!

ナービーともう１日付き合った。台風が夜遅くに北海道に近づく中、全国で１８人が死亡、９人がいまだに行方不明となっている。

多くの人たちが土砂崩れのために命を落とした。アメリカで主に浸水で命を落としたのとは違う。大きな川は何とかもって、都市部の無慈悲な破壊は避けられた。

上陸時の２つの嵐を比べてみると、カトリーナはもっとしまってて、中心に力が集中しているように見える。ナービーは目がもっと大きく、少し緩んでいるように見える。でも暴風域と降雨域はもっと大きい。
自然災害については、どっちがいいとか悪いとかは適当じゃないけど、台風でもっと被害が出てもおかしくなかった。次のに備えてみんなが教訓を学んでいてくれたらいいんだけど。

台風シーズンはまだ過ぎ去ってない。去年、１０月に殺人的な台風が９５人の命を奪った（３人が行方不明）。

さて、日曜の選挙速報のために待っている仕事の方に集中しないといけないけど、災害の恐ろしい芽には注意をしておかないと！

　英語のfoil a planみたいなことで
　このbudを使って良いのかは
　よく分からん。
　意味は分かってもらえるでしょう。
