Baseball: Chunichi loss gives Hanshin magic number in CL
NAGOYA, Sept. 14 KYODO
The Hanshin Tigers got the magic number to clinch the Central League title after the Yokohama BayStars beat the second-place Chunichi Dragons 5-2 on Wednesday.
Hitoshi Taneda ignited the offense with a two-run double in the second inning and Daisuke Miura (9-8) pitched eight strong innings as Yokohama handed Chunichi its fifth loss in six games, giving the idle Tigers the magic number of 13.

野球：セ・リーグで中日が破れ阪神のマジック点灯
名古屋、９月１４日　共同
水曜日に横浜ベイスターズが２位の中日ドラゴンズを５対２で破り、阪神タイガースにセ・リーグ優勝のマジックが点灯した。
種田仁が２回に２点を叩き込む２塁打を放って打線に火を点け、三浦大輔（９勝８敗）が危なげなく８回を投げきり、横浜が中日に６試合で５つとなる黒星を与え、試合が無かったタイガースにマジック１３が点灯した。
