Just WOW!!
When it was lunchtime, I knew the game was close as the two former champions were tied for many times after halftime. So I decided to give up eating lunch and stare at the TV showing the satellite channel playing the match of the year.
With Duncan's free throw troubles, the two teams were still even at the end of regulation and all was to be decided in an promised exciting overtime. But just as Detroit took an early lead, a devil fell on the lands of Niigata!!
At 1:03 PM, an earthquake of a Japanese trembling scale 5 minus rocked the Niigata Chuetsu area and off I went to my work. Yes, how I worked like a demon cursing my fate to leave the match of the year!
But luckily I managed to come home without knowing the result. And I thank God for letting me finish off my dream! Horry an owner of five rings with the Rockets and Lakers did it again, this time with a sore shoulder! The three pointer with 5.8 seconds left was the final field goal of the game as the Spurs held off the Pistons' last play.
One of the greatest games I've ever seen!

とにかくすげー！！
昼食時になったとき、試合がかなり接戦になっているのは知っていた。元王者の２チームはハーフタイムの後、何度も同点になっていたからだ。だから昼食を食べるのをあきらめて、今年一番の試合を放送する衛星チャンネルがついたテレビをにらむことにした。
ダンカンがフリースローで手こずった結果、２つのチームは規定の試合時間が終わっても同点となり、すべては間違いなく盛り上がりそうな延長時間で決せられることになった。ところが、デトロイトが早いリードを奪ったところで、悪魔が新潟の地に舞い降りたのだった！
午後１時３分、震度５弱の地震が新潟中越地方を揺らし、俺は仕事に走りまわった。そうだよ。どれだけ鬼のように働いたことか！今年一番の試合を放り出さないといけない自分の運命を呪いながら。
でも幸いにも、結果を知ることなく、帰宅できた。夢の続きを見ることができて、神様に感謝している！ロケッツとレイカーズで５つのリングのオーナーとなっ たオーリーがまたやった、今度は肩を痛めながら！残り５．８秒で決めたスリーポイントシュートが最後のフィールドゴールとなり、スパーズがピストンズの最 後のプレーを押さえ込んだ。
