Frankenstein!!

All the fatigue of the past few weeks have conquered me today, as I lay half dead on my bed, while the temperature outside was cruising to 30 degrees Celcius.
When the temperature had become a little modest, the sun was already starting its way down, and I went out on my vessel with pedals to hunt for music in shops with handling discs at secondhand.
But today, it was a little different than usual, and I needed something more stimulating. Well yes, some kinda challenge... I returned to my apartment to do something out of my knowledge. Yes, some sorcery I could try in my room... This may change my life for the better, but it may also take me to my DOOM if I enchant the spells wrong...
OPEN SESAME, my great MACHINE. You shall have your surgery! HA-HA! The cables of life were connected and the abdominal operation was over in an half and hour... But when the light was turned on, my servant could not rise from the dead!! WHY? What have I done wrong!! Ahhh...


...After checking out every manual I possibly can, I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I opened up the cover of my computer box again and found out I had pulled out the cable that connects the mother board and the hard disk by a mistake. It took me hours to find out this simple mistake. No wonder it didn't boot right... I ain't no computer wiz and I really thought I lost all my data in my primary disk and I was all drenched in sweat when I saw the error message... Phew, I don't have to run into customer service to fix my everyday tool...
Well after 6 hours, the 400GB disk was ready to be in use. What am I doing with so much volume!? Well, I record enough television materials and also take a bunch of megabite digital pictures. Nothing's enough for me. And the greater also serves for the lesser, as we always say!! So, off we go my Frankenstein!!


Opened up my desktop VAIO for the first time ever and implanted the brand new hard drive. Looks good, doesn't it?


タイトル：フランケンシュタイン！！

外で気温が３０度にまで昇り詰める中、きょうはこ こ数週間の疲れに身体を乗っ取られて、ベッドでほとんど死ぬように横た わっていた。気温が少し落ち着いてきたときには、太陽もすでに沈む方向に進んでいた。ペダルが付いた乗り物で飛び出して、使い古したディスクを取り扱う店 へ音楽の狩りに出掛けた。
でもきょうはいつもと違って、もっと刺激的なものが必要だった。そうだな、挑戦的な何かが…。家に戻って自分の知識 を超えたことをやることにした。そ う。部屋の中で出来る魔術を…。これをやると人生が良くなるかも知れないし、ひょっとしたら地獄へ連れて行かれるかも知れない。もしおまじないを間違えたな ら…。
開けゴマ、俺の偉大なる装置よ。おまえの手術が始まるぞ！わはは！命を吹き込む線がつながれ、開腹手術は３０分で終わった…。でも、電気が流されたときに、俺のしもべは死から起きあがることができなかった！！なぜだ？何を間違ったんだ！！あー…。


… ありったけのマニュアルを確認したが、何を間違ったのか分からなかった。もう１回コンピューターのカバーを開いてみると、マザーボードとハードディスク をつなぐところのケーブルを誤って抜いていたことに気付いた。この単純ミスに気づくのに何時間もかかった。どうりでうまく起動しない訳だ…。コン ピューターが得意じゃないので、本当にプライマリーディスクに入っているすべてのデータを失ったかと思った。エラーメッセージを見たときに汗まみれになっ たことなったこと…。ふー。毎日欠かせない道具を直すためにカスタマーサービスに掛け込むことは避けられたようだ…。
優に６時間を超えて、４００ギガバイト のディスクが使えるようになった。こんだけの容量があってどうするんだって？まぁ、結構たくさんテレビの素材を録画 するし、メガバイト級のデジタル写真も数え切れないほど撮るしね。俺にとって、十分ってことはないんだよ。それに大は小を兼ねるってみんな言うだろ！！ さぁ、行くぞ、俺のフランケンシュタイン！！
