Tomorrow is another day...

had a walk in Yokohama after the gathering... wish I was here with a date! a beautiful city just like Kobe! Posted by Hello

Not a big fan of Scarlett in Gone with the Wind, but that's just how I feel right now...

Today I went to Yokohama to attend a small gathering of survivors from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, now living in the Kanto area.
Listened to their hardships along with precious opinions of how a big quake can be overcome by a strong will to live. While there is life, there is hope as they put it.
Some of them still long to go back to Kobe, and some have given up. Thousands have fled the area to everywhere in the nation after the quake struck and many still have not found any solutions to make their return home. We all must know that if a fairly large earthquake hits the Kanto area or even the Chukyo area, tens of thousands may lose their lives with many more victims fleeing to other parts of the country. Let us all understand that thinking this is no business of ours will end up in grave regrets.

Saw the recording of the 65th Ouka Sho three hours after it was run today at Hanshin Race Course. I was betting heavily on the No. 7 horse, the undefeated Cesario along with the No. 1 horse Admire Megami equipped with legs of a good last spurt. Cesario eventually became the favorite in the race, but the winner was the second favorite, Rhein Kraft.
Another heavy loss for me!
Will there be another day tomorrow? Well Scarlett, I really wish there is!!
