Eruption in Aso

Asosan Volcano had a very small eruption today and the JMA announced a Volcanic Advisory at noon.
No damage to the area, but just some concerns of higher levels of volcanic activity coming up as the long vacation week (a combination of holidays make up consecutive days off called "the Golden Week") will be coming up in the end of April.

Volcanoes are valuable spots for travelers to check out as you can feel the earth's breathing close by, also visiting the hot springs alongside. Some kind of heaven, it is. But for a while the visitors will have to give up taking a close look at the crater of Asosan as the Volcanic Advisory today will definitely reject anyone to get close to it.
It's always better to be safe than not. Hope the activity will moderate as time goes by!

阿蘇火山できょうごく小さな噴火があり、気象庁が正午に臨時火山情報を発表した。
周辺に被害はなかったが、さらに高いレベルの火山活動につながらないかだけが心配される。長い大型連休（祝日の組み合わせで「ゴールデンウイーク」とよばれる連休になる）が４月末に迫っているだけに。
火山は旅行者にとっては貴重な観光地だ。地球の呼吸を間近に味わうことができるし、近くにある温泉にも立ち寄れる。天国のようなもんだね。でも、観光客は阿蘇山の火口に近づくことは当分はできなくなる。きょうの臨時火山情報で何人も近づくことを許さないだろうから。
安全な方がいいよ。時間が経つにつれて、活動が落ち着いてくれたらいいんだけど！
