My way of visiting a friend in hospitals

stopped by to see the view of northern Tokyo from the Arakawa riverside
Made a brief visit to my friend in Saitama, being hospitalized because of probable infections to the kidney.
Took my car as always for a little ride, and I was there in less than an hour. My friend is a bureaucrat of the government, and I first met him as one of my sources to gather information. Now he's a real ally discussing about a four legged animal running around tracks. Yes, you've guessed right. Horse racing!
Just as the today's racing was broadcasted on TV, we were betting on it through our mobile phones and forgetting we were in a hospital!
Well that's the best way to pay a visit to a friend who doesn't want to talk about depressing topics, right?

I'm back in Tokyo. Gotta go to work from now, as I have an overnight duty at my office. After a brief shower I'll be heading for another long night of work!! uhh...
