Sleeping all day.
A roll of thunder woke me up at around 1400. I looked out my window and saw the buildings of Shinjuku being struck by lightning. The roar eventually softened and went away in about half an hour and... I went back to sleep...
At 1700 I woke up again. Osaka Toin HS was being overwhelmed by Waseda Jitsugyo HS and my hopes of seeing a Kansai champion team had faded away.
一日中寝倒した。
１４時ごろに雷鳴で目が覚めた。窓から外を見ると、新宿のビル街が稲妻の直撃を受けているのが見えた。雷鳴はしばらくすると落ち着いてきて、３０分ほどで消えた。そして…再び眠りについた…。
１７時にまた目が覚めた。大阪桐蔭高校は早稲田実業高校に圧倒されていて、関西チームが王者になるのを見る期待は薄らいでいった。
It was worse at night, as I heard a flash news from Kyodo at my headquarters office that the magic number for the Dragons has lighted up as the Tigers were ripped by the Nagoya team. Zut alors!!
夜になるとさらに状況は悪くなった。本部オフィスで共同の速報を聞いたら、タイガースが名古屋のチームに惨敗して、ドラゴンズにマジックナンバーが転倒したそうだ。残念！！
At my office I talked to my colleague about the Aneha crime and scrambled to look for things I can use to study for the coming Horiemon trials.
a ha! Horiemon's books! I have to finish reading these by Friday!
No time to rest next week, but I think I had enough sleep today!
職場で同僚に姉歯事件のことについて話をして、ホリエモンの裁判に向けて勉強できるものを探し回って急いでかき集めた。
写真：なるほど！ホリエモンの本ね！金曜日までに読み終えねば！
来週休み無しだな。でも今日十分に寝られたかも！

roll of thunder 雷鳴
thunderが雷。lightningが稲妻。
roll of... やrumbling of...を付けると雷鳴のこと。
うるさくライオンが吠えたようならroarでも良いか。
この時期になると、日本ではよく雷が落ちる。
雷で毎年、人が亡くなるが、都会で人が死ぬ話は
あまり聞かない。やはり高いビルに雷が
落ちているからだろうか。
窓からは、ビシビシ稲妻が落ちているのが見えた。
さすがに写真で撮るのは難しい。
怖いけど、やはりきれいだな。一瞬だけの閃光は。
同時にはかないものなのかも知れない。
雷に伴って雨が激しく降って、少し涼しくなる。
そのあとに外に出るときが一番気持ちよい。
