A working Sunday again. A sunny day in Tokyo, but pretty chilly when the wind blows.
This morning a young kabuki actor was arrested for punching a cop after leaving a taxi driver unpaid for a ride. The arrested Shichinosuke NAKAMURA is the second son of Kankuro NAKAMURA, a very poplular kabuki actor. Shichinosuke is very active in the entertainment world not only because of his growth in kabuki acting, but the variety of talent he has shown in other fields. He played a part of the emperor Meiji in "The Last Samurai". He said he was drunk, as the night before there was his father's party celebrating his succession of a higher-rank position in the kabuki world. To the police, it was reported, that he didn't remember what happened because he was drunk.
I love to drink. And I know how you get lost in alcohol. Sometimes it's pleasant to just get drunk with all the pressures and bitterness in the real world. I get drunk oftenly, but I never lose my mind. Though, I must admit that alcohol sometimes gives me a push on how I act. Objecting to the elders, bragging to the younger ones, and most of all, saying sweet things to a girl I'm losing my head on...The saying in Japan we must not forget... Nomdemo Nomareruna! You may drink, but never drink away your reason!
