BANZAI KANSAI!!

Kyoto Race Course...cloudy
After Staying in Kobe for another day... look where I round up.
Kyoto Race Course in the Yodo district was a playground full of dreams in my college years. Been here for more than a hundred times. It was quite cloudy today, and freezing. Jockey Yutaka Take won his 2500th in the 8th race (the picture above, Into the Groove, the daughter of a famous mare Air Groove). And there was a unbelievable outcome in the 9th race at Kokura Race Course with a trifecta paying 4,000,000 yen per 100 yen bet. WOW.
But my record was nothing but a disaster. Losing 5 races out of 5. Yes, I lost them all...
After pulling myself together in the city, I had a pleasant dinner with my friend. The restaurant near Kawaramachi Matsubara named "GIRO GIRO HITOSHINA" was a little bit expensive, but reasonable with all the original menus with a Kyotoic taste. yum yum...
Using the Hankyu line, went back to Osaka to stay with my parents. Kansai... I just love it here.

神戸にもう１日泊まった後…さぁこんなとこに来ちゃいました。
淀 にある京都競馬場は庭みたいな所。大学生だったころは夢が詰まってた。百回以上はここに来たなぁ。きょうはかなり曇ってて、寒かった。武豊が第八レース で2500勝目（上の写真、イントゥザグルーヴ、有名なエアグルーヴの娘で）をゲット。しかも小倉競馬場の第九レースではとんでもない結果になってた。三 連単で四百万円馬券が飛び出してた。すごい。
でもきょうの自分の成績は散々だった。五レースとも外した。そう、全部負けちゃった…。
とりあえず市内で気分を取り直して、ダチと快適な晩飯。河原町松原近くの「枝魯枝魯ひとしな」は少し高かったけど、京都っぽい上品な創作料理にしては手頃な値段でした。美味かった。
阪急線で大阪に戻り、親のところに泊まった。関西…ほんまええとこやなぁ。
