There's always talks of fate and a sudden smile by the whimsical goddess in sports.

I already knew England and Sweden ended up even, as I couldn't wake up early enough to watch the match and the news had informed me with the score. Watching the recording of the match, I just couldn't figure out how the Swedish had tied the game after England had scored its second goal late in the game...
Fateful the announcer said in the broadcast... Fateful...
As I still have to learn more common knowledge about this sport, I didn't know England didn't have a win over this Scandinavian rival for 38 years. (I knew their coach was Swedish!)

試合を見るために起きれなくて、ニュースがその結果について伝えていたので、イングランドとスウェーデンが引き分けたのは既に知っていた。その試合の録画を見て、イングランドが試合の最後の方で２点目を入れた後にどうやってスウェーデンが同点にしたんだろうと不思議に思っていた…。
アナウンサーは運命だと言っていた…運命的だと…。
このスポーツの一般常識をまだまだ学ばないといけないが、イングランドがこの北欧のライバルに３８年間勝っていないことは知らなかった。（コーチがスウェーデン人だということは知ってたけど！）
