Mission accomplished!

タイトル：任務完了！

Second day at Kokura RC...
Today an elder collegue from Oita joined us and we competed our skills to nail down the races at the reserved seats!!

to get a hand on the limited number of reserved seats, we had to get to the race course at around 8:30AM!
小倉競馬場２日目…。
きょうは大分の先輩も合流して、指定席に入って、馬券を取る腕を競った！！
写真：限られた数の指定席を手に入れるために、朝８時半頃に競馬場にたどり着かなければならなかった！

I did pretty well today! The only regret was that I hit many of the races of Fuchu and Yodo, and not the Kokura races...
Well, winning is the best drug!!

きょうは結構良い感じだったよ！唯一後悔したことは府中と淀のレースはたくさん当てたのに、小倉のレースはダメだったこと…。
まぁ、勝つことが一番の薬だ！！

We finished off eating yakiniku (grilled meat) near Kokura station with a younger collegue, a freshman of Kitakyushu Broadcasting Station who had worked with us at Tokyo as a part-timer till a year ago, now starting her great career at this traditional city of journalism in Kyushu.

I REALLY HAD FUN!
Refreshed and nothing more to ask for!

最後に小倉駅の近くで焼き肉を食った。１年前までバイトとして東京で一緒に働いていた北九州放送局の新人の後輩と。彼女は、九州では伝統あるジャーナリズムの街で素晴らしいキャリアが始まっているんだ。

ほんまに楽しかったねぇ！
リフレッシュできたし、もうこれ以上何も望まないさ！

P.S.
Back at home, I still have another amusement waiting tomorrow morning.
I even asked my elder colleague to trade shifts so I can take the overnight shift Monday which means I can stay at home in the morning!
I think you all know why I want to stay home tomorrow!!

追伸
家では、明日の朝もう一つの楽しみが待っている。
先輩にわざわざお願いして勤務を変わってもらって、朝に家でゆっくりできるように月曜日の泊まり勤務に入れるようにしたぐらいだ！
明日なぜ家にいたいかみんな分かってると思うけどね！！
