Being "dented"

タイトル：「へこんで」

Is a Japanese way of saying I'm depressed...
っていうのは、落ち込んでることを表す日本での表現の一つ…。

Not because the women's halfpipe I watched at my office fell quite short of our expectations, but because of a disappointing performance at work...
I'm not going into the specifics here, but what made me "dented" was that my sources had told me that my actions were not passionate enough to move their hearts.
To be honest, I was the one who thought they weren't enthusiastic enough with their job!!
職場で見ていた女子ハーフパイプがかなり期待はずれやったからではなく、良い仕事ができなかったからや…。
細かくはここで書かへんけど、「へこんだ」理由は取材先に、俺が情熱無さすぎやったから、彼らの心を揺り動かすことができんかったんやと言われたこと。
正直言うと、どっちか言うたら彼らの方こそ仕事に対して情熱が無さすぎやと、俺の方が思ってたぐらいなんや！！

Yes, maybe I wasn't... that makes me more "dented" than ever...
情熱が無さすぎたんかな？自分が一番分かってるわな…。
まぁ、そうやったかも知れん…そう思うとさらに「へこんで」まうなぁ…。

Now, I'm going to restore this "dent"!!
