A really different Sunday!

タイトル：いつもと全く違った日曜日！

The polls were right!!
A start of an empire indeed...


started the day casting a vote... just couldn't support anyone in my electoral district as I threw in a blank vote into the ballot box. I wrote "DPJ" for the proportional representation, but the other's waiting on line even before the voting started probably didn't!!

Went to my office at around 7:20PM, and went all the way at the studio floor where the election special program was broadcasted live, giving updates of the ones to be sure of being elected.
I took care of the exit poll operation, and the input of vote numbers into the computers for a total of 20 hours in a row...

...very tired as the astonishing news of LDP's nationwide sweeping victory came in all the way through the broadcasting...
...a start of an empire... NOW, who's gonna start a revolution?

マジで帝国が始まるとは…。

写真：投票することで一日が始まった…。自分の選挙区では誰も支持ができず、投票箱には白票を投じた。比例代表には「民主党」と書いたが、投票が始まる前から並んでいた人たちはたぶん違うだろうな！！

７時２０分ごろに会社に行って、最後まで当確の打ち出しを生で報じていた選挙特番のスタジオフロアにいた。
出口調査業務と票数のコンピューター入力を担当した。合計２０時間連続で…。

…すごく疲れた。自民党の全国的な圧勝の驚がくのニュースが放送中、次々と入る中…。
…帝国が動き出した…さぁて、誰が革命を起こすんだ？
あなたがその革命者になりますか！？

　民主の得票数は自民とそれほどの
　大差ではなかった。
　なのに議席数はびっくりするほどの
　差が開いた。
　やはり比例代表制度だけでは、
　小選挙区の死に票を救ってない気がする。
　中選挙区に戻せんもんかなぁ…。
