A threat wakes me up

It was night shift day, but in the morning, a threat in the Pacific lured me to get to my office early. A fairly large quake hits near the Santa Cruz Islands.
M6.9 was USGS's analysis... PTWC had it at M7.3...

No strong tsunamis were generated... at least by observation. I hope no one was killed!
