I hate getting soaked...

I have to get to my office at some point till 10PM as I have to make it to overnight duty, but each time I decide to leave, I hear the sound of heavy rain, outside...
Well I have enough documents to read at home, and I don't have to rush... I really don't want to get soaked, but it's already 6PM, and I must start thinking about getting wet...
But now, I see a gap!
